Brits appoint racist, sexist Obama/Hillary-hating loon as new Foreign Secretary

Britain’s new prime minister, Theresa May, has selected Boris Johnson, the former mayor of London, as her new “foreign secretary” (in American terms, that’s her new secretary of state).

And while normally Americans couldn’t care less about the British foreign secretary, they should care about this one. Johnson, who has already been compared to Donald Trump, has said some pretty horrible things about Secretary Clinton and President Obama.

(UPDATE: In a piece Johnson published in the UK publication, the Telegraph, Britain’s top diplomat wrote of the “watermelon smiles” of African children, who he referred to as “picaninnies” (an offensive reference to black children. More in our new story about Boris Johnson here.)

Oh, but it gets better. Johnson wrote the above piece while he was editor of The Spectator, a British conservative magazine. Among the articles Johnson edited for the Spectator is one in which we learn that “orientals” are less horny than whites, and that blacks have smaller brains, which explains their lower IQs.

First, there’s Johnson’s downright racist birther comment about President Obama.

Johnson wrote a column in the Sun newspaper in which he aired the notion that President Obama’s “part-Kenyan heritage” gave the President an “ancestral dislike of the British empire.” For good measure, Johnson threw in the false GOP talking point that President Obama had “banished” Winston Churchill’s bust from the White House. Yeah, not so much, Boris.

Next, there’s Hillary, who Johnson said looked like “a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital.” Here’s an excerpt from Johnson’s longish tome in the Daily Telegraph back in 2007:

I hum and I brood and then to my amazement a face seems to form in my mind’s eye. She’s got dyed blonde hair and pouty lips, and a steely blue stare, like a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital; and as I snap out of my trance I slap my forehead in astonishment.

How can I possibly want Hillary? I mean, she represents, on the face of it, everything I came into politics to oppose: not just a general desire to raise taxes and nationalise things, but an all-round purse-lipped political correctness.

And as if that weren’t enough, Johnson also suggested that Hillary killed Vince Foster.

For you young’uns, the Vince Foster canard is an old one the Republicans threw at Hillary back in the early 1990s, and which Donald Trump recently tried to revive. It’s as baseless as everything else they’ve lobbed against her.

Oh, and Johnson also compared Hillary to Lady Macbeth:

To ask the reader to support Hillary means asking you to forget all those worrying allegations that Ambrose Evans-Pritchard used to report so brilliantly in these pages: the funny goings-on with the White House travel office, the anomalies in the position of poor Vince Foster’s gun, the curious business of the drug-runners at the Rena airfield and the Whitewater real estate imbroglio.

How could I possibly emit the merest peep of support for a woman who seems to have acted out the role of First Lady, from 1993 to 2000, like a mixture between Cherie Blair and Lady Macbeth, stamping her heel, bawling out subordinates and frisbeeing ashtrays at her erring husband?

It’s Mena Airfield, not “Rena,” Boris. And that too is a debunked right-wing talk radio myth. Now brought back to life by the new British foreign secretary. How do you like them apples?

Johnson also added this bizarre sexist comment about Hillary:

For all who love America, it is time to think of supporting Hillary, not because we necessarily want her for herself but because we want Bill in the role of First Husband. And if Bill can deal with Hillary, he can surely deal with any global crisis.

Seriously, this is the new British foreign secretary? This is the lead diplomat in charge of the Great Britain’s special relationship with the United States?

Theresa May can take her special relationship and shove it.

Uh huh. Vince Foster’s body was found lying on an incline. The head was higher up on the ground than feet. Another words he was not lying prone but at an angle with his feet pointing downward. And here is the thing about soil. It is porous. And any blood is going to seep down and into the ground. And indeed, that is what investigators found. There was lots of blood found at the scene. Soaked into the ground and under and around his body. Of course Starr wanted that removed. The FBI pretty much debunked the ‘EMT story’ and as I said, Starr was looking for something to allow those child molesters of the GOP to impeach him. Something that would stand up to at least a cursory inspection as to accuracy. Not something to feed the talk show fever swamp of the Limbitiots and Alex Jones Zombies.
And not only was Ken Starr no friend of the Clintons, Louis Freeh the head of the FBI at the time, was not either. Louis Freeh had amiable relations with the GOP controlled Congress based on their assessment that he was not friendly to the Clintons. And he maintained that stance throughout his tenure at the FBI. And then some. What’s more, a close inspection of Vince Foster’s mental state at the time, according to friends and FAMILY, was that Foster, already a person who had long suffered from clinical depression, found the “blood sport” in Washington ( his words to describe it) profoundly demoralizing. Ken Starr and the GOP actually have blood on their hands with respect to his death. Certainly not Hilary Clinton.

Now, now, now, calm down. Can we just talk facts?

Ambrose Evans Pritchard investigating found that the first 2 EMS workers who saw Foster’s body in the park only saw a hole on the side of his neck, below Foster’s ear. Also no blood or bone fragments were seen on the grass around him. No car keys were found on Foster’s body, or in his car.
Starr and Fisk reports tried to get this testimony removed from the report, but a judge overruled them and it ended up being included in the appendix to the report.

How is such an unbelievable cover-up possible, you ask? Good question.
You need only remember that the very 1st thing Bill & Hill did as they walked into the White House as President was to illegally order up all the FBI files on each and every member of Congress.

BS. I usually don’t swear when commenting. But this is beyond the pale.

The wast majority of all Germans, this one including, understands that the UK and Western powers had to put a stop to Hitler and subsequently contain Stalin’s ambitions to export his brand of communism.

If anything, it is this good will that will help the UK in the negotiations, in spite of that Bojo fool.

  8. Badgerite says:

They’ll take Europe and they didn’t even need an army to do it. Of course, Germany now is not the Germany of the 1930s. And thank God for that.

  9. Badgerite says:

    Don’t blame you.

  10. Badgerite says:

Yes, he does. You do know that you linked to a page that claims that Ken Starr engaged in a “cover up” for the Clintons by removing all mention of ‘evidence’ that Vince Foster did not commit suicide and including, instead, the FBI conclusion that Vince Foster did, indeed, commit suicide.
Ken Starr, for those of us who lived through that time, is someone who would have been utterly thrilled to have found any such evidence and believe me, had there been anything legitimate to even raise questions, he would have been all over it like the cheap suit that he was.
But, of course, to have included in his report, contentions that could be easily disproved by any perusal of the forensic evidence, and evidence of Vince Foster’s state of mind, (he suffered from chronic depression) and the fact that he described what was going on in Washington, D.C. such as the Whitewater investigations and Ken Starr as “blood sport”, would have totally discredited Starr and any further investigations he planned to make which ended up finding that Bill Clinton had had a consensual office affair while in the White House. He was after something to impeach Bill Clinton with. That was the only purpose for the Whitewater Investigations. And to discredit that effort on a bogus Vince Foster tin foil hat conspiracy theory was simply not in the interests of that goal. And it would not be in the interests of that goal because the claims were so easily debunked. Dummy.

Winston Churchill would banish Boris Johnson, not just his bust, from the halls of power, were he around to do it.

  14. elaine skinner says:

Scotland is definitely leaving the UK, we’ve had a bucketful of arrogant, ignorant British politics when Scots are so far different from our neighbours in the south (England) Scotland has never voted for any tory party in government in London for many a decade yet we get stuck with them over that period of time. It is a case of Scotland’s voice is always silenced. Now because England and Wales intend dragging Scotland and Northern Ireland out of the EU very much against our will. Scotland overwhelmingly in ever region of Scotland voted to stay in EU yet the elite English Government and majority of English/Welsh have put the middle finger up at us. This time we WILL win our Independence because the unionists north and south of this island conned many Scots into voting No because they were told by the Brits that if Scotland left the union we’d be kicked out of EU and that Scotland was best to stay in UK to stay in EU….oh the irony of that! Now we have the many EU Nationals who voted No in fear of being out of EU had Scotland been Independent, they are now keen to vote for Independence now as Scotland will more than likely have a special deal to stay in EU as long as we become Independent before the time set for final day of UK pulling out of EU. The thought of these lunatics running the UK especially the abnoxious and ignorant Boris Johnson who by the way, also insulted everyone of the top Brussels people. Can you imagine them wanting to give UK a good deal with him in charge eh! I hope the US cheer on Scotland’s Independence, we are so envious you got yours from Great Britain several hundred years ago…hopefully this time Scotland can be added to the hundreds of countries free of British colonialism or in Scotland’s case, merger against the will of majority of Scots back in 1707.

I don’t get it. They had the perfect opportunity to be rid of him, once and for all. They could use the way the whole Brexit thing was handled as an easy excuse, and his prior nonsense as icing on the cake. Instead, they elevate him to what will be undoubtedly the most important position in the cabinet over the next two years, as they renegotiate their entire relationship with the EU. Not to mention, if MI6 has become a laughing stock since the Cameron cabinet, having this guy in charge isn’t going to rehabilitate their image any.
